TREASURE presented at EduPower 2025 in Szczecin
On 15 October 2025, TREASURE partner Szczecińska Energetyka Cieplna represented the project at EduPower 2025 in Szczecin, Poland.
Held at Netto Arena on 15–16 October, EduPower brought together approximately 2,500 participants from the energy industry, businesses, educational institutions and local authorities. The event was designed as a cooperation platform supporting education, skills development and networking across the energy sector.
Connecting energy, education and industry
The EduPower programme focused on key challenges expected to shape the energy sector over the next five to ten years. Its panels and workshops addressed topics including energy workforce education, cooperation between companies and educational institutions, opportunities for workers moving from other industries, local supply chains, occupational safety and the role of women in the energy sector.
The second day also included discussions dedicated to Szczecin’s urban energy transition, including the optimisation of energy consumption, decarbonisation of the city’s heating system and green certification.
TREASURE at the exhibition and networking zone
SEC presented TREASURE through project presentations, promotional materials and its company stand. Participation in the exhibition and networking zone created an opportunity to introduce the project to industry representatives, business partners and other stakeholders interested in the future of sustainable energy and district heating.
The event also provided a relevant setting for raising awareness of TREASURE’s work on large-scale Pit Thermal Energy Storage, which can support the integration of renewable and excess heat into more sustainable district heating systems.
